A mourning ceremony commemorating the demise of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) took place on September 3rd at the new office of Cultural Council of the Embassy of Iran Nairobi at Parklands Plaza.
The event was attended by members of the Iranian residents in Kenya. The gathering offered an opportunity for the Iranian community in Kenya to join in collective remembrance and reflection during this sacred occasion, honoring the values and teachings of the Prophet.
Participants engaged in prayers and recitations, fostering a sense of unity and solidarity among them.
The 28th day of the month of Safar, the second month in the lunar Hijri calendar, marks the anniversary of the passing of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and is commemorated by Muslims around the world.
