The Eastern Human Rights Conference Organizing Committee organized a 3rd conference pre-session meeting titled: “Possibility of an Eastern Human Rights”. The meeting was held in Qom, Iran, at Baqir al-Olum University physically and online.  The main conference will be held on 19-20 Feb 2025 in Tehran and Qom in Iran.
The suggested subjects to the meeting are as follows:1.
    Philosophical justifications for eastern human rights and their potential for developing human rights on an eastern perspective.
2.    Role of eastern religions in shaping the notions of human rights in eastern societies, their contributions to human rights discourse or their compatibility with global human rights standards.
3.    Unraveling the impact of eastern cultures on the perception, development and practice of human rights, and their influence on individual and collective human rights.
4.    Bridging eastern and western human rights: a comparative analysis and exploring potential areas of convergence or divergence.
5.    Capacity of legal frameworks, constitutional laws, and regional human rights instruments in eastern societies to safeguard human rights.
