According to the secretary of the first international conference, Hojjatoleslam Alawi, religious leaders and representatives of divine religions from 21 countries have participated in the event in the form of holding briefings, and presenting articles at the conference.
The Islamic Research Foundation and the Cultural Organization of Astan Quds Razavi, Imam Reza International University, Razavi Islamic University, as well as institutions from Iraq, Syria, Pakistan, Tanzania, Kenya, Romania, Italy, Spain and other countries were all involved in the organization of the conference.
Kenya was represented by bishop Geofrey Waithaka fromKenya Assembly of God a Christian Church
Alawi said the meetings and briefings are on the themes of “God-centered”, “intellect and religion”, “kindness and justice”, “peaceful living in the light of faith”, “religious education, and challenges of today”, and “Relations with Human Rights in Divine Faith”.
The secretary of the first international conference of Imam Reza (AS) and the dialogue of religions added that the “Museum of Religions” would be inaugurated at the Central Library of Astan Quds Razavi with the attendance of various religious leaders, on the sideline of the conference.
He also emphasized that the conference will come to an end, with unveiling of a psalm (song) sung in English, Persian and Arabic languages. The psalm is about Monotheism and the teachings of Abrahamic religions.
Hojjatoleslam Alawi also said a selection of 40 photographs will be unveiled at the conference with the general theme, “peaceful coexistence of religions under the Islamic revolution.”
